Volleyball Recap: Lavaca Victorious

Lavaca won the last time they faced Ozark and things went their way on Monday too. The Golden Arrows walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hillbillies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Ozark had strong showings from Isha Patel, who had 11 digs, and Sydnie Herriage, who had 20 kills, eight digs, and two aces. Herriage is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Lavaca's record is now 13-8. As for Ozark, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11-1 record this season.

Lavaca will venture away from home to take on Providence Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ozark, they will head out to square off against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
