Volleyball Recap: Madison Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Madison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Salem Lions on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cubs haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Madison walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-12.

Maylie Skinner paced Madison's offense, picking up ten kills. Skinner got some help from Audrey Miller and her 16 assists. Brittan Neuman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Madison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Salem, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Seymour on the 23rd. Salem has also already played their next match (against Eastern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
