Baseball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview lost against Northridge back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Raiders, falling 13-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Zolman, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Zolman's first of the season.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview will head out to challenge Fremont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Northridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Jimtown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
