Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Enid's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Charles Page, Enid was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Ada Cougars with a 49-45 win.

Despite the loss, Ada had strong showings from Caron Richardson, who posted 18 points, and Grayson Morris, who had seven points and six rebounds. Morris also put up two assists, which werehis first of the season.

Enid has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Ada, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

Enid wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-53 victory against Mount St. Mary on the 24th. Ada has also already played their next contest, a 57-56 win against Marshall on the 24th.
