Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was the 2-0 winner over Reagan when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Rattlers on Thursday.

Mallory Miller paced Georgetown's offense, picking up seven kills. Miller got some help from Amelia Albright and her ten assists. Finally, Amry Anderson kept Georgetown's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Reagan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Georgetown will take on Vista Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Reagan, they will be taking part in a tournament against O'Connor at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
