Archbishop Mitty faced Sierra Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Monarchs fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 2-1. The Monarchs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Archbishop Mitty's loss dropped their record down to 18-3. As for Sierra Canyon, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-3.

Coming up, Archbishop Mitty will square off against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Canyon, they will take on Marymount at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
