Football Game Preview: Blount Leopards vs. Theodore Bobcats + Official Tickets

Blount hasn't had much luck against Theodore recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leopards will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Blount has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Blount is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past St. Paul's Episcopal 67-41 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Leopards as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Blount's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keevaughn Johnson, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 85 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high. Another pass catcher making a difference was Darius Brown, who picked up 59 receiving yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, Theodore played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 38-14 to Saraland. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Theodore's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Blount, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7.
