Kings Park picks up tenth straight win at home

Recap: Kings Park Kingsmen vs. East Islip Redmen

The Kings Park Kingsmen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past East Islip 54-31. That looming 54-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kings Park yet this season.

Kings Park's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Zawol, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Zawol pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Currier, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Kings Park's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.7 points. As for East Islip, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Kings Park will be home for the holidays to greet Cold Spring Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Islip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
