Volleyball Recap: Rock Falls Takes a Loss

Rock Falls was the 2-0 winner over Bradley-Bourbonnais when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Boilermakers on Saturday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-9.

Ari Reyna paced Rock Falls' offense, picking up five kills. Reyna got some help from Bre Dallgas-Frey and her ten assists.

Leading Bradley-Bourbonnais to victory were Vivian Miletich and Lydia Hammond. Miletich had five digs and four aces, while Hammond had four digs and two assists. Those four aces gave Miletich a new career-high.

Rock Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Coincidentally, Rock Falls and Bradley-Bourbonnais will both be playing Grayslake North the next time they take the court. The Rockets will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Boilermakers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
