After a string of three wins, New Brockton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 48-35 to the Straughn Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gamecocks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-32 two weeks ago.

New Brockton now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Straughn, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

New Brockton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Opp at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. New Brockton is facing Opp at the right time seeing as Opp is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Straughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
