Basketball Recap: Crow Creek Comes Up Short

If Crow Creek was feeling good fresh off their 55-14 takedown of Takini last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crow Creek Chieftains were dealt a 67-37 loss at the hands of the Dupree Tigers on Friday. The game marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Crow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Dupree, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Crow Creek and Crazy Horse will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Dupree, they and Marty Indian will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Dupree knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Marty Indian likes a good challenge.
