Soccer Recap: Cactus Takes a Loss

Cactus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Greenway Demons. That's two games in a row now that the Cobras have lost by exactly eight goals.

Cactus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Greenway, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

After both having extra time off, Cactus and ALA - Gilbert North will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. ALA - Gilbert North will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cactus surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greenway, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dysart at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
