Concord hadn't done well against Exeter recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Crimson Tide were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Blue Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Crimson Tide, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Concord now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Exeter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season.
