Soccer Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss

Greene County fell victim to Purvis and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Purvis Tornadoes.

Greene County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-2 record this season. As for Purvis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1.

Greene County will take on Forrest County Agricultural in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Purvis and East Central will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
