Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Biggsville West Central). Everything went their way against the West Prairie Cyclones on Monday as they made off with  a  28-1 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Heat in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won five in a row.
 Kaylee Mills and  Becca Hinshaw made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound,  Mills   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Hinshaw   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. At the plate,  Mills  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, while  Hinshaw  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Mills has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Lily Higgins was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous  run total in each of the last three games she's  played.  Payton Eisnnicher also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Biggsville West Central was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .714. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  matchups.
Biggsville West Central's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Prairie,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-10.
 Looking ahead, Biggsville West Central will host Abingdon/Avon  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Heat's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 7.9  runs per game this season. As for West Prairie, they are taking a road trip to  take on Mercer County  at 4:30  p.m.  on  the 29th.
