Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After flying high against Madison last Tuesday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Lincoln Tigers came up short against the Conrad Chargers on Monday, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Chargers are ranked 56th).

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Conrad, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Inspired Vision on the 14th. As for Conrad, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Pinkston on the 14th.
