Oldham County lost to South Oldham on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Colonels came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 8-5.

Grady Gipson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Logan Edsell was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Oldham County's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-12-1. As for South Oldham, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Oldham County will host Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Oldham, they will venture away from home to square off against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
