Baseball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympia can now relate to. They came up short against the Venice Indians on Wednesday, falling 18-3. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olympia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Rathmann, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Venice, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.

While Olympia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
