Baseball Recap: Jefferson County North Comes Up Short

Jefferson County North managed to slip by Jackson Heights the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 13-3 to the Cobras on Thursday. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cobras earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Jefferson County North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-3. As for Jackson Heights, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson County North will challenge rival Pleasant Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Jackson Heights is set to take on their familiar foe Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Thursday.
