Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Huskies vs. Broughton Capitals

The Heritage Huskies will face off against the Broughton Capitals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Heritage is leaving town to face Broughton after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Huskies came up short against D.H. Conley on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Huskies have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Broughton had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to Apex.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-6, 25-10.

Heritage took their win against Broughton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
