Softball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Brooks duked it out with Central on Friday. The Lions fell 13-9 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 14-26. As for Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 36-12.

Brooks didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Deshler on the 4th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-11 defeat against Wilson on the 4th.
