After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Homestead, Westmont was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Milpitas Trojans get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Vinnie Moreno made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Moreno was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Westmont let Peyton Hines and Kainoa Raub run wild. Hines went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Raub scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
