Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Sylmar Spartans

Kennedy has won five straight games at home, while Sylmar has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Cougars will welcome the Spartans at 4:00 p.m.

Kennedy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Dimas.

Meanwhile, Sylmar earned a 3-1 victory over San Fernando on Friday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-16.

Kennedy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Sylmar, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Kennedy was able to grind out a solid win over Sylmar in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-1. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
