After a string of ten wins, Lummi's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 48-37 to the Neah Bay Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackhawks of the 54-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

It was another big night for Qwaapeys 'Q' Greene, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 20 points for Neah Bay. Another player making a difference was Angel Halttunen, who posted seven points and seven boards.

Lummi's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Neah Bay, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1.

Lummi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 93-61 loss against Muckleshoot Tribal on the 28th. As for Neah Bay, they will welcome Pateros at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neah Bay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
