Softball Recap: Morgan Wins Going Away Against White Pine

Morgan not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024. Everything went their way against the White Pine Bobcats as the Morgan Trojans made off with an 18-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Morgan got a massive performance out of Joesi Kelly, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave Kelly a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Hardman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for White Pine, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Morgan has already played their next game, a 7-4 loss against Syracuse on the 14th. As for White Pine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-4 defeat against Beaver on the 14th.
