Basketball Game Preview: Pine Grove Panthers vs. Kossuth Aggies

The Pine Grove Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Kossuth Aggies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Grove has given up an average of 54.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove faced off against Blue Mountain on Thursday. The Panthers fell 59-52 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Kossuth lost to Ripley at home by a 71-55 margin on Thursday. The Aggies have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Kossuth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pine Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Pine Grove against Kossuth in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 68-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
