Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri had won five straight home games and Kate Corley did her part to make it six on Wednesday. The Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders slipped by the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs 44-43 with plenty of help from Corley, who almost dropped a triple-double with 25 points, nine boards, and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri's points.

Another player making a difference was Barbara Wynne, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 13 points. Those 13 points gave her a new career-high.

Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Midland Adventist Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

As of now, neither Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri nor Midland Adventist Academy have any future games scheduled.
