Volleyball Recap: Inderkum's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Inderkum had lost four straight headed into Monday's matchup, but Cristian De Vega didn't let it get to five. Inderkum had just enough and edged out the Ponderosa Bruins 3-2 on Monday thanks in part to De Vega, who had eight digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.

Inderkum was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Inderkum's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Ponderosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Coming up, Inderkum will square off against Christian Brothers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Christian Brothers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Inderkum surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ponderosa, they will head out on the road to take on Woodcreek at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
