Softball Game Preview: Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans vs. Fillmore Eagles

The Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans will venture away from home to take on the Fillmore Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Avoca-Prattsburgh came up short against Addison and fell 15-12. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Fillmore let Arkport Central stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily Fillmore prevailed anyway. The Eagles skirted past the Bluejays 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now won seven in a row.

Mylee Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on 11 hits and racked up nine Ks. She also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season.

At the plate, Mattie McCumiskey was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Morghyn Ross, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Avoca-Prattsburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Fillmore, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
