Volleyball Game Preview: Aragon Dons vs. Burlingame Panthers

The Aragon Dons will head out on the road to challenge the Burlingame Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Aragon will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Aragon had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Ignatius College Preparatory on Thursday. The Dons blew past the Wildcats 3-0.

While Aragon might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Ignatius College Preparatory scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 28-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Burlingame didn't have quite enough to beat Hillsdale on Friday and fell 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burlingame took Hillsdale into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-10, 22-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Aragon's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Burlingame, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-6.
