Gabrielino came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 61-45 win over the Mountain View Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gabrielino's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Mountain View, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing South El Monte the next time they take the court. Mountain View will head out to face South El Monte at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, while Gabrielino will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
