Basketball Recap: Big Horn Beats Wright for Their Third Straight Victory

Big Horn extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Emme Grace Mullinax. The Big Horn Rams enjoyed a cozy 58-43 win over the Wright Panthers on Friday thanks in part to Grace Mullinax, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Butler, who posted seven points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anaeli Salas, who put up 15 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Umiker, who earned ten points and eight boards.

Big Horn has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Wright, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Big Horn has already played their next contest, a 42-29 defeat against Rocky Mountain on the 1st. As for Wright, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-44 victory against Moorcroft on the 1st.
