Moorpark had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Simi Valley Pioneers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Musketeers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-15.

Moorpark's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Simi Valley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorpark will venture away from home to square off against Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. After both having extra time off, Simi Valley and Camarillo will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
