The Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 80-34 loss at the hands of Boulder City. Doral Academy Red Rock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-19.
It was another big night for Roman Rose, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Boulder City. Another player making a difference was Luke Wright, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Doral Academy Red Rock dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Boulder City, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing The Meadows School the next time they take the court. Boulder City will head out to face The Meadows School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Doral Academy Red Rock will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
