Basketball Recap: Turlock Christian Piles Up the Points Against Delta Charter

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turlock Christian). They really took it to the Delta Charter Dragons for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-38 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since December 18, 2023.

Turlock Christian was led to victory by Michael Miller and Cam Kelley. Miller went 9 of 17 en route to 22 points along with six assists and five steals, while Kelley posted 19 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Miller a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Nydam, who put up 13 points and seven rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Turlock Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Turlock Christian's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Delta Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Turlock Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-51 victory against Vanguard College Prep on the 13th. As for Delta Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 67-29 defeat against Waterford on the 13th.
