Volleyball Recap: Vista del Lago Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Vista del Lago lost against Woodcreek back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Timberwolves. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-14.

Samantha Campanale was nothing short of spectacular for Woodcreek: she had 21 digs and three assists. Campanale is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Vista del Lago's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Woodcreek, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-4.

Vista del Lago and Woodcreek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 181st) will meet Ponderosa (ranked 690th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Woodcreek will face off against American Canyon at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (33 vs. 424).
