West Ranch came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Paraclete Spirits. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in February.

While West Ranch might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Paraclete scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 29-27, 23-25, 25-21.

Noah Douphner paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 18 kills. Douphner got some help from Jackson Manansala and his 18 assists.

West Ranch pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Paraclete, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-17-1.

West Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oak Park on the 18th. As for Paraclete, they will square off against Quartz Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
