Volleyball Recap: Pathway Christian Panthers vs. Quad Cities Christian Eagles

Pathway Christian lost against Quad Cities Christian on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Lorena Helmuth paced Pathway Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Helmuth got some help from Leah Schrock and her 17 assists. Helmuth also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maggie Shetler, each putting up two.

Jordan Britton had an outrageously good game for Quad Cities Christian as she had 15 digs and two aces.

Pathway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Quad Cities Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-11.

Pathway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quad Cities Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rivermont Collegiate on the 7th.
