Pike extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-1. They took down the Center Grove Trojans 55-38. The 55-point effort marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

As for Center Grove, they now have a losing record of 2-3. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rhys Oliver, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Braden Goodpaster, who had nine points and five boards.

Pike will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Central at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. Center Grove and Whiteland will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 63.2 points per game this season.
