Volleyball Recap: Oxford Triumphs

Oxford won the last time they faced Avon Grove Charter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Wolves 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Kaley Higgins paced Oxford's offense, picking up five kills. Higgins got some help from Maycie Smith and her five assists. Emma Byers controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oxford's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Oxford has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Solanco on the 30th. As for Avon Grove Charter, they will venture away from home to face off against Aquinas Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
