Volleyball Recap: South Cobb Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Cobb lost against Pebblebrook back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9.

Samira Washington paced South Cobb's offense, picking up five kills. Washington got some help from Nicolette Sweat and her five assists. McKenzi Mack controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Pebblebrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-12.

South Cobb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against East Paulding on the 11th. As for Pebblebrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hillgrove on the 16th.
