Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Isaiah Jackson and Tyson Tayag Lead Brea Olinda to Victory

Pacifica typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Brea Olinda proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Pacifica Mariners by a score of 47-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2016.

Leading Brea Olinda to victory were Tyson Tayag and Isaiah Jackson. Tayag posted ten points along with seven boards and five assists, while Jackson dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds gave Jackson a new career-high. Carson Tracey was another key player, putting up nine points.

Brea Olinda now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Pacifica, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9.

Brea Olinda has already played their next matchup, a 70-46 defeat against Esperanza on the 21st. As for Pacifica, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-42 victory against El Modena on the 24th.
