Volleyball Recap: Des Moines Christian Takes a Loss

The Des Moines Christian Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Ankeny Hawks on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Des Moines Christian dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ankeny, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Des Moines Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Panorama at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ankeny, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Roosevelt on the 20th.
