St. Dominic came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Belleville West Maroons. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroons, too.

St. Dominic found their leader in sophomore James Campbell, who had five digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Campbell.

St. Dominic's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Belleville West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

St. Dominic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Edwardsville on the 12th. As for Belleville West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Saxony Lutheran on the 12th.
