Baseball Recap: Lytle Takes a Loss

Lytle was the 6-5 winner over Poth when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. Lytle fell 6-3 to Poth on Tuesday.

Devin Cordova and Mason Hill did some serious damage despite the final result: Cordova went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, while Hill got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Hill is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Lytle now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Poth, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Lytle is taking a road trip to square off against Moody at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poth, they will take on Jay in a tournament on Friday.
