Illini Bluffs had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-36 W against the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
