Football Recap: Cassidy Hoffman and Kennedy Naylor Pace Culver City Defense

Culver City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 26-0 to the Venice Gondoliers. The Centaurs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gondoliers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Culver City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cassidy Hoffman and Kennedy Naylor.

Culver City's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Venice, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Culver City is taking a road trip to challenge Hawthorne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Venice, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Hamilton at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Yankees will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Gondoliers surely won't give up without a fight.
