Lennard has gone 9-1 against Spoto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Longhorns will take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Lennard hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

If Lennard beats Spoto with two runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Longhorns beat Steinbrenner on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1.

Lennard got a great performance from Pablo Garcia as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Garcia has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lennard saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Valentin - Ramos, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Valentin - Ramos a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Spoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to Parrish Community.

Lennard has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Spoto, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Everything went Lennard's way against Spoto in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Lennard made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
