The St. Edward Green Wave will square off against the St. Charles East Fighting Saints at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. Edward will be strutting in after a win while St. Charles East will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, St. Edward humbled Regina Dominican with a 40-6 victory. Considering the Green Wave have won eight contests by more than 25 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, St. Charles East lost 31-7 to West Aurora on Thursday.

St. Edward is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.1 points over those games. As for St. Charles East, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.
