Basketball Recap: St. Martin Comes Up Short

St. Martin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 51-33 to the Ocean Springs Greyhounds. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

St. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Ocean Springs, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

St. Martin and Ocean Springs could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. St. Martin will face off against Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 62 places (82 vs. 20). Meanwhile, Ocean Springs (ranked 84th) will meet Gulfport (ranked ninth) at 1:36 p.m. on Tuesday.
